What happens behind the closed doors of a daycare..

My heart was broken to hear today that a 14 month old baby girl was removed from life support today,  and passed away in hospital after she was allegedly shaken at her home-based day care on Wednesday. 


What mental capacity allows one to punish an innocent child in such a way. What could a child, of any age do that was so bad they deserved this? I am completely speechless.

I cannot imagine being this poor baby's parent. I cannot imagine being a parent of the other children who attended that daycare. I cannot imagine being the husband or sons of this woman, who possibly knew of her actions and did not advocate for the wellbeing of the children who were in their home being "cared for".


There is nothing that makes any of this right. I am just heartbroken for this little girls' family.
